Art Donations

Next Friday, September 20th, for Art each student will need to have 3 paper towel rolls and 2 toilet paper rolls. Please have your child bring these items to school before then. I will gladly accept any extras as well. Our class also needs at least 20 giant black trash bags for Art this Friday. If this is something you can donate, please let me know, so I know whether or not to purchase them myself. Thank you for all of your help and donations. I greatly appreciate it!

Assembly and Rocky Feeding

This Friday is our first assembly which also means it's our first coyote spirit competition. A couple things to know:

*Assemblies start at 8:30am. They are outside. K-3 can bring towels to sit on, 4-6 can bring their chairs to set up on the sides and the field (or they can bring towels too).

*Coyote spirit means coyote shirts and any school colors/decor. Uniforms DO NOT count. The winners will be announced at the assembly. The winners keep the coyote in their classroom until the next assembly. 

Also, next week our class is scheduled to feed Rocky. I would greatly appreciate food donations (He loves watermelon!).

ART

Please have your child bring in a penny on Friday (8/23) with the year they were born. If you need help finding one let me know. Also, please start collecting toilet paper rolls. They will be using these for Art on November 1st. 

Curriculum Night!

Don't forget Curriculum Night is this Tuesday (8/6) from 6:00-6:25 pm. Ms. Cooper and I will be presenting as a team since there are siblings in both 3rd grade classes. Hope to see you there!
